what irritates me is when the car in front of me on the interstate leaves his turning signal on for 8 miles.
i was so irritated at this coming back from lunch today that all i could think of was, 'wouldn't it be great if i had a rocket installed in this little car so i could blow his car off the road?
' why do we get pissed at little stuff like this?
Every day I drive down I-65 South toward Nashville, Tn and always hit a construction zone where traffic slows to 35-40 mph...I see the same people every day doing the same dumb-ass things like driving up the outside shoulders to move up one or two car lengths...after that they sit there like everyone else....they are too blind and too stupid to look one or two cars ahead to see there is no f#$%^ing place to go....Damit!!!

perhaps i'm just a bit paranoid..but i get the feeling that there are a few posters that actually hate me (before its assumed--no i'm talking about lack of responses to my threads.. and no i am not talking about a disagreement of opinion) i am talking about a few posters that come across to me as very hateful in their responses.. and yes i know that not everyone here will like me (even though i'm so darn sweet and cute...lol) but it is an intense animosity vibe that i get and can't seem to shake.. maybe i am mistaken and maybe its just me..... but if there is anyone out there that does dislike me that much---i am curious as to why---only because i try to learn and grow everyday and your input would be especially valuable and probably essential to that -growth.. so whats the verdict---do you love me, hate me or just not care either way?.

Mustang.....Soylibre has a good point....say all you need too....it will help getting everything off your chest....My wife and I did not submit a letter...I gave two Elders a 20 minute explaination out in front of our home...I requested some time and patience on their part until my wife felt well enough to go to a Committee meeting...they requested I come to the Hall to discuss the matter further....Last thing I said was....I will not repeat myself again....I gave you an explaination...If you missed it the first time....Tough Luck....A week later they announce that we had DA'd ourselves....we found out later most everyone thought we wrote a letter....LOLOL...Saved me the writers cramp.....LOL.....
Good luck with your quest.....Hang in there with the possible shunning dilemma...things change all the time...change is the only constant!!!!

my father-in-law died last night.
one of the most intelligent men i have ever met, ironically struck down with a brain tumour that eventually robbed him of all cognitive ability.
My Condolences to you and your wife DMouse. I have fond memories of a few good men and women I associated with growing up in the JW Faith. To name a few....Earl Peffers, George Lee, Ida Mennard, Donat Mennard....Good people with good hearts....I'm sure your memories of him will be with you always.

i have read many opinions about jw's being a cult.a dictionary describes cult as a system of religious beliefs and ritual .. some have viewed even major religions as a cult, such as the roman catholic church.based upon webster almost anybody or anything that is viewed as ritualistic could be said to be cultic.when someone tries to negate jehovah's witnesses by using.
the "cult" word, i believe they are not seeing that many others could legitimately be regarded as a cult or at least "cultic".therefore the word loses alot of meaning.
some have said that the watchtower is a cult because of the control factor.
